Google’s 10^100 contest gets delayed till March
For those who are not familiar with the Google’s Project 10^100, heres a quick response. This is a project by Google looking for “ideas to change the world by helping as many people as possible.” This result was planned to be annouced this Tuesday but due to the “more-than-expected-number of submissions” the finalist will be announced on the 17th of March.

Ballmer says Microsoft still interested in Yahoo
This is an old news made new, we all know that Microsoft have been interested in acquiring Yahoo!, since the former CEO Jerry Yang turned down the $ 47 billion bid by software giant.
It appears that both parties are in the talks again, since Yahoo got a new CEO.

Telcos to go green
Ok, I’ll just quote some part of the report, to better describe this news:
“Apart from the feel good factor that comes with knowing you are doing your bit to save the planet, there are a number of other benefits to be gained from implementing green initiatives throughout the telecoms business. Reducing costs and improving brand perception, are only an example”, said Sally Banks, senior analyst with telco operations at Ovum and author of the report “Green telecoms: strategies and implications for operators.”
