Conficker.worm Part 5: Morphs into a new version

Written by | Tech

I thought I would never blog about this pesky computer worm, but it appears that there is a new worm in town!!!!

From my last post “Conficker.worm outbreak Part 3,”from a harmless worm that only disables your security program, stops windows update and cut off your connection to most web site, now the new version installs a small malware that pretends to be a security program named: “Spyware Protect 2009” or something to that effect and actively collects credit card information using the infected computers.

New removal tool have been posted to their respective, you may want to refer to my post “How to remove the Conficker.worm?” to help you remove the worm from your computer.

What ever happens, there is no better protection than prevention!
