If you’re a busy person… (like me… ehem!!!) and you don’t have time to login to your blogger/blospot account to post your blog, here’s a great feature from Blogger/Blogpost that you can use to just use your email provider to post your blog.
This feature is called “Mail2Blogger” or the “Email Posting” feature. The Mail-to-Blogger feature turns any email account into a blog-posting application.
You can setup your Email Posting Address, so that whenever you send an email to that email address, it will automatically post the email or save it as a draft post.
To enable or setup your EMAIL POSTING ADDRESS, here are the things that you need to do.
- Login to your Blogger/Blogspot account.
- On the Dashboard of your blog, click on the envelop icon and the EMAIL POSTING POP UP will appear.
- Just place the “secretword” that in between the username and “@blogger” then just save the changes and you are all set.
Another way to enable the EMAIL POSTING ADDRESS, is to access it from the SETTINGS options fron your DASHBOARD or the SETTINGS TAB when you are on the control settings of your blog.
See screen shot below:
SETTINGS on DASHBOARD
Once there, go to the POSTING OPTIONS, from there place the secretWords that you want to use, for this tutorial, I used “teknisyan” then just save the change and you are all set.
So whenever you send an email to that special email address, then content of the email will be posted as your blog, depending on how to set the EMAIL POSTING OPTIONS, it would either be posted as soon as you sent it or be saved as a DRAFT POSTS.
In anycase, you get to post without logging in to your BLOGGER/BLOGSPOT account.
