I’ve been out for at least 2 weeks and now when I publish my first post since 6/16/2009, I saw this Google ad on the right side of my screen. Thinking there was a problem with the Ads on my account, I further check on the ads. But the next time I publish my post, I received common tips and reminders from Blogger.com.
It appears that Google is testing out a new ad service that will serve ads to publisher/blogger even if they are in their Admin/ Blogger Control Panel. Who would not take advantage of the millions of blogger that are using Blogger.com? I’m sure… I will… just take a look at these facts about Blogger.com. Taken from DownloadSquad.com:
- More than 65% of Blogger’s traffic comes from outside North America.
- The most popular sport blog is for soccer.
- At any given minute, 270,000 words are written on Blogger.
If you are a long time user of Blogspot.com or Blogger.com, I’m sure you will notice that these ads and can disrupt the way to publish your post. Just avoid clicking on these ads you should have no problem. Good thing about this is that, the ads are being displayed randomly, from my test, I test publish a certain post and with 15 or so published post, I only got 1 ads and most are reminders and tips from Blogger.com, I even got a screen that does not have any reminders nor ads.
Below are some of the screen shot of the reminders and tips that I received.
