First of all this is not a review post but more of a product comparison… Having a DSLR camera is one of my gadget wishlist and been saving for it for the longest time now. So far my Nikon D90 has been the superior model of Nikon when compared to D40, D60 and D70. Then my friend mention that Nikon has a new model (D5000), since he is using the same camera from Nikon. So I went directly to http://imaging.nikon.com, then made my product comparison for Nikon D90 and Nikon D5000, so here’s what I got.
Except for a number of differences, which are all in favor of D90 (except for the exposure mode and price) , they basically have identical specs, but that’s just in papers. So I read some reviews.. there are pro D90 reviews and there are pro D5000 reviews. Also, I’ve been looking for the official price in (Php) but I can only locate prices in Hidalgo and those people reselling their camera. So I just settled for the US price. ^-*
Anyhoo.. I’m still rooting for D90 in this one, but I would really like to hear from people who uses Nikon D90 and Nikon D5000. This all boils down to the user’s skill and how you intend to use the camera. How about you? Which camera do you prefer?
