Google has recently announce about a new Google Chrome OS. The new OS will be built on top of the current Linux kernel (the heart and brain of any OS). The new OS will support x86 architecture, which includes ATOM from Intel, the ARM chips. Google Chrome OS will be available to consumer next year – 2010 or probably after 6 months and the company said that they are working with a number of OEMs to bring a number of netbooks to the market within the next 7 months.
It is said the the new Google Chrome OS is all Google, which uses all Google web application like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Zoho and Google Reader. Hopefully, Google will create a version unique UI, which most Linix lack today… if they do… then things will surely be interesting in the OS Market!
