A number of software company released a really large number/size of updates to plug any security holes found on their software. The most notorious if not the usual suspect is MS updating a number of its software including IE, Windows 7, Windows XP, Vista, Media Player and more!!!
The total number of 13 patches and will fix a whopping 33 vulnerabilities as published by PC Mag.
Mozilla Firefox is now 3.5.3. The updates is needed to fix the currently known issue with the old version. A list of known issues are listed on Firefox 3.5.3 release note page.
Apple is in currently working on a fix for the recent bug that was uncovered that delete all user information when logged in as a GUEST then login back as a regular user.
While the fix is being develop, Apple urge users to enable the TIME Machine feature to backup their data and you can use this to restore any lost data in case of a mishap.
