Windows 7, Windows Vista, and XP: MS Paint

Written by | Tech

As you may have seen on my previous post “Tech Tips: When the image are not longer being viewed as thumbnail“, I’ve downloaded the Windows 7 RC version, which is almost identical to the Windows Vista in terms of GUI, but that’s where the similarity ends. I been using Windows 7 for almost a week now and I’ve noticed that its much stable, has better memory management when using multiple application and there are a lot of enhanced features. While similarity is good, change is always better. 🙂

So now I decided to compare most of the most common features, applets and UI of the last 3 versions of Windows; Windows 7, Vista and XP.

First stop: MS Paint

It now has a toolbar and stripped bar placed on top rather than at the bottom. It has the shapes section, the lines sizes and the CROP feature.

While on Vista… it looks like this:

and of course the in XP.
