Disapppointing service from PLDT WatchPad!!!!

Written by | Tech

Yes! I was disappointed with the watchpad service.. Since they (PLDT) were promoting the service anywhere.. I was hoping that when fight time, it will be list the other channels that I’m usually watching on watchpad. But to my surprise, I keep getting error messages and disconnections. Not to mention the frequent buffering of the video.

It buffers almost every 5 mins… even if I already dedicated the whole connection for watch pad. 🙁

Now that the fight was over, the service appears to be back to normal! But still a disappointment, since the time that PLDT has to deliver a good service… they where knockout like Manny kicking Cotto’s b*tt!!

Here are some of the error messages that I was getting!

While watching the video and it buffering for atleast 5 mins then play the video for 30 seconds then buffer again… then eventually disconnects and gives this error message.

I keep getting this message when logging in. But then you try again, it usually logs me in after my 3rd try!!!!

I sure hope next time, PLDT Watchpad, will take the opportunity to show how reliable and good their service it. For the meantime, I’m sure people will always have second thought in using this service (PLDT Watchpad).

They should have accounted for the number of subscribers who opted to watch the fight via Watchpad. What is weird is they already knew beforehand how many signed up for the service. It's either someone miscalculated the server they needed or they just didn't bother to really invest in it as it was free!

Lucky for me I kind of knew this was going to happen and watched it live on a bar.

Wow.. 3 comments! 🙂 Anyhow.. yes, I agree… PLDT should have taken the opportunity to show consumer how reliable and good the service was, if they want people to upgrade their DSL Service.

    Missed opportunity!
