Nokia charger recalled!

Nokia will be recalling at least 14 million charger which has been determine to cause electric shock. So far only the chargers, that has been sold together with the cellphone unit or separately as an accessories has been determine to have this problem and it does not appear to affect the cellphone units.

Models of the affected charger are AC-3E and AC-3U, which where made by Chinese battery and auto part maker BYD Co., between June 15, 2009 and August 9, 2009 and AC-4U manufactured between April 13, 2009 and October 25, 2009. Nokia chargers
Nokia said that the problem is caused by a lose plastic cover that can expose the wiring and can cause electric shock when touched while plugged in or while charging and will replace the affected charger models free-of-charge. The chargers has been sold mostly in Europe and Norton America.
