Last Feb 8, Canon introduced a new flag ship model under its Rebel line. The Rebel T2i will be try to erase the gap between the entry-level camera and a true pro-sumer camera.
The Canon EOS Rebel T2i Digital SLR camera, which by many considered as the “baby 7D”. Since some of its key feature are similar if not derived from the Canon 7D. This is Canon’s answer to Nikon’s D5000 and this is a very good answer by Canon. 🙂
Some of it key features are:
- 18 Megapixel still images
- Full HD 1080p video
- 3.7 fps shooting
- ISO range of 100-6400 (expandable to 12,800)
- 63-zone Dual Layer Metering System
- Canon’s DIGIC 4 Imaging Processor
With an introductory price of $899.99 with a 18-55IS Kit lens, this will be a good catch for early adapter. No word yet, when it will be introduced in the Philippines, but I’m sure this will be a market favorite.
