iOS 4 now available for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch Owner

Apple is due to release iOS 4 anytime today. As mentioned by Steve Jobs, the iOS 4 is compatible for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch. On June 21 (today) owners of these devices will be able to upgrade to iOS 4 for free.

For a rundown on the features and what’s new with the iOS 4, you can read Apple’s iOS 4: What’s in it?. The approx. time of availability of the iOS 4 update is anytime 1PM EST or 12PM CST time, but knowing Apple, it can be anytime.. literally.

To update to iOS 4, make sure you have the latest iTunes 9.2, if not you can download it from this link or just click on HELP > Check for updates.

If you already have the iTunes 9.2, just connect your device (iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch) then click on the Update button.

Remember the iOS 4 update are for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch only the iOS 4 for iPad will be released this fall.
