Kinect for Xbox 360: Microsoft’s answer to Nintendo’s Wiimote?

Microsoft recently announce at the E3 2010 the new add on to it’s Xbox 360, the Kinect. After Nintendo surprising everyone with it’s Wii game console and it’s Wiimote. Now Microsoft unveils Kinect (previously known as project Natal) available for gamers and users this November.

The Kinect will work more like a sensor than a device that you need to hold or attached to your body. You can interact or control your charact using your gestures, spoken commands, or objects and images. The projected price for Kinect is $149.99 and Kinect Arcade bundle for $299.99 and $399.99 for the elite bundle via GameStop.

The only requirement for the Kinect add on is an Xbox 360 and 175MB of memory. No word yet when it will be available in the Philippines, hopefully it will be available in the xmas season. 🙂
