I was at www.time.com and read the “The 50 Worst Inventions list” by Time Magazine. While checking on the list, I was surprised to see a number of tech company, gadgets and something that looks trivial happens to be one of the worsts. 🙂
Auto-tune, Tanning Bed, Phone Fingers and Smell-o-Vision, I can understand why they are included in the list. But to include Farmville (though I’m not “playing” it), Clippy, Betamax, Tamagotchis, Sony CD Copy Protection and Foursquare (Yes! Foursquare!!) that I cannot understand.
Farmville is what made Facebook it is today, I bet without FarmVille, Facebook will not have 50 million plus users, may be 20 million or 30 plus million users but not 50,000,000 plus users (exaggeration included).
Sony CD Copy Protection, the technology that was supposed to save record company from pirates. I could go on with my rants and complains why Clippy, Betamax, Tamagotchis and Foursquare are included in the list.
Anyhow, if you’re not getting that I’m talking about, then you can just read my list below.
