URL Shortener named after Keanu Reeves

Written by | Tech

Another URL Shortener just join the fray of TinyURL, is.gd, Bit.ly, tr.im, tweak.tk and wp.me (though some of these sites are no longer working), The site is simply http://kea.nu created by Shane Snow.

The http://kea.nu allows you to both easily and simply share links. The history of the site is well documented on the About page of kea.nu. The site did mention that they serve friendly ad in between shortened URL and the destination site for two weeks only, which is Snow’s way to raise money and donate it to charity, specifically to Stand Up 2 Cancer and 100% of the generated revenue will go to the Stand Up 2 Cancer.

Snow promise to stop the ads after two weeks and he’ll 301 the links to get the SEO benefits of the site.

Purrfect!! 🙂
