On July 13,2010 Microsoft will end the support for Windows XP SP2, so any vulnerabilities and holes will no longer be patched by Microsoft. At the same time, Microsoft will also be ending support for Windows Vista without any service packs this coming April 13, 2010, so it is best that you download at least the Windows Vista SP1.
So where does this leave millions of Windows XP and Vista users. First, their OS will be supported once they download the SP3 (XP users) and SP1 (Vista users). To download the Windows XP SP3, you can visit the “Learn how to download Windows XP SP3 now.” page created by Microsoft to educate it’s users. For Vista users, you can also visit the “Install Windows updates” page. But of course the best way to download the updates for either Windows XP and Windows Vista, it to just enable the Windows Automatic Updates for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
For other ways on how to obtain the SP3 and Vista SP1, you can follow the steps for your respective Operating System.
