What’s the best way to promote your product to a lot of people? Of course to show them the feature and advantages that you can do with the product that you cannot do to competing ones and that’s what Nokia exactly did with its latest phone the Nokia N8.
Nokia setup the largest cinema screen (51 meters x 28 meters) then utilize the N8’s HDMI data connection to show off its video playback features. The event was held in Rosengard, Sweden where Nokia setup the gigantic cinema screen then connected the Nokia N8 to four XLM HD30 projectors, each weighing 140 kg, in order to project “Prince of Persia” to the now considered as the world’s biggest cinema screen.
According to Nokia Conversations:
About 1,500 people turned up to see this massive movie and it’s estimated that another 1,000 local people simply watched it from their apartments or balconies. The previous world record was held by Pinewood Studios in Middlesex, Great Britain, with a cinema screen measuring 73.1 metres wide and 18.3 metres high and with a total area of 1,338 square metres.
Here’s a 2 mins video of the event.
Now that’s what I call promoting your product in a big way! The Nokia N8 will start shipping on October and if you pre-ordered your Nokia N8, then you should have received our phones by now.
