September 2, 2010 Germany, Samsung unveil their entry to the tablet market the Samsung GALAXY Tab (GT-P1000), powered by Cortex A8 1.0GHz with PowerVR SGX540 for the graphics, add the 3.0 MP camera with LED Flash which can capture Full HD (1080p) at 30 fps.
It also has a SIM card slot for the data connectivity and for making calls. Yes, that’s right folks, you can make voice and video calls on the Samsung GALAXY Tab. The screen size 7 inches diag and has a thickness of 11.98 mm which explain the 380gms weight.
The tablet’s OS is powered by Google’s Android 2.2 (Froyo) and you can download different apps via the Samsung APPS and Android Market.

In mid September Samsung GALAXY Tab will be launched in Europe then in other markets including Korea, the US and Asia in coming months. No word yet on the exact price or if there will be an official carrier but one thing is for sure, Samsung beat everyone by adding that call (video and voice) feature.
