Today is the last day of CES 2011 in Las Vegas and one of the announcement that I’m waiting is the Motorola Tablet, since they released that video teaser a couple of weeks back, that caused quite a buzz in the blogsphere.
Now its official that the Motorola has announced the Motorola Xoom. Motorola said that “it is the first tablet with a dual-core processor (1 GHz) and running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb)”, which is the first and true version of Android for Tablet and the ability to tap in to the growing number of apps from Android Market.
Aside from the usual bells and whistles of tablet, Motorola Xoom also has a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 2mp front camera and 5 MP rear cameera that is also capable of recording video in 720p HD. Motorola Xoom has the ability to provide connection for up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
Motorola Xoom 3G and Wifi model will be available in the 1st quarter of 2011 and a 4G model will be release by Motorola in the 2nd quarter of 2011, though no price has been announced by Motorola.
