Blogger.com to get a much needed Face-lift and will now use Google Web Toolkit

Written by | Blogging, Internet, Tech

It looks like Blogger is about to get a much needed face-lift, while blogger is still the largest blogging platform, it slowly losing ground to WordPress, Tumblr, Twitter and even Facebook. Some of the changes that will be made will in the Dashboard and post editor, and at the back-end side, since it will now be using Google Web Toolkit.

Blogger will unveil these upgrades and enhancements at SXSW in Austin, Texas. For a sneak peek on some of the improvement and changes that Blogger will unveil, you can checkout some of the screen-shot and video after the break.

New Dashboard

New Post Editor

We may need to wait for Blogger to enable these changes, since they are not available when you switch to the Blogger in Draft and I may need to re-evaluate my plans to move to a hosted WordPress blog. 🙂

If you’re using Blogger for your blogs, what do you think about these new changes? Tell me what you think by leaving a comment below.
