Seagate unveil Wireless HD for iOS and Mobile Devices

Here’s something for the uber-upwardly mobile, Seagate just announce a wireless mobile HD that you can call your ultimate mobile storage solution; the GoFlex Satellite™ mobile wireless storage.

The GoFlex Satellite™ has a capacity of 500 GB, its considered the first battery powered HD and transfer data via Wifi 802.11 b/g/n. You can basically use any wifi mobile device to transfer data using any web browser or if you have an iOS device, you can use the GoFlex Media™ app–available (free) on iTunes and the Apple App Store.

With the new GoFlex satellite, you can take your video, music, pictures and documents virtually anywhere. The GoFlex satellite is now available for pre-order via Seagate.com, Bestbuy and Amazon for a manufacturer’s SRP of $199.99, it will be available in Best Buy stores in July 2011 and Global availability later this summer.
