Wifi Mouse release into the wild by HP!

Written by | Gadgets, Tech

HP recently announce a first of it’s kind mouse; the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse. The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse uses the PC’s built-in Wi-Fi receiver for it connection instead of the common Bluetooth or the use of a USB Dongle.

Aside from it’s unique use of wifi connectivity, the HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse is just like your average mouse.

– It has (believe it or not) 9 months of battery life
– Has a range up to 30 feet
– Does not require any USB dongle, it uses the PC’s built-in Wi-Fi receiver.
– 1200 to 1600dpi resolution
– Five customizable buttons
– Four-way-tilt scroll wheel
– Ambidextrous form factor

The HP Wi-Fi Mobile Mouse will be available in June 2011 for $49.99 a pop. Together with the wifi mouse HP announces the Link-5 technology, that links (of course) 5 HP-compatible PC accessories to your PC.
