It appears that HP is also banking on the popularity of Manny Pacquiao to promote their product, like the HP Veer. Check out the video ads starring the eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao.

HP Veer was launched last February 2011 and it’s powered by webOS from Palm which was acquired last April 2011.

According to Yugatech, the HP paid Manny $1 million for the Veer Endorsement deal. Since Manny is endorsing HP Veer, there is a good chance that the small but terrible smartphone will be release in the Philippines.
