The last time I heard about Friendship is when they announced that they’ll revamped the service and will erase all photos that you’ve uploaded. So with all the news about Social Media lately particularly MySpace, Facebook and Google+, I thought to give Friendster a quick visit and it appears that Friendster has completed its transformation from the old Friendster to a game centric social media sites.
Since Friendster was acquired by MOL AccessPortal Berhad (a Malaysian company) last November 2009, they’ve shifted strategy and focus on being a game centric social site. Types of games that are being offered on Friendster are RPG, FPS, Strategy, Racing and Sports games.
They also change the UI which looks much better than the old ui of Friendster. Judging from the number of users per game on Friendster, it looks like there are still a lot of active users on Friendster and playing their games.
Checkout some of the screen shot of the new Friendster below.
So what do you think about the new Friendster? Is it a winner or epic fail?
