Corel announced WinDVD Pro 11

I was gonna call this post “Who needs 3D TV if you have WinDVD Pro 11?” but then I would have to answer that question in a long and useless post. Anyway, you know WinDVD? Yes that media player that a lot of people hate and some of us love using. Corel just announced the next version of WinDVD the WinDVD Pro 11, which is a major upgrade and I do mean MAJOR UPGRADE.

  • 2D to 3D conversion
  • Online movie search engine
  • New UI (This one I love!)
  • Additional File Support (FLV, MKV, MP4 and more!)

Another new to WinDVD Pro 11, is that you can now play BD using the trial version! Just go to Corel.com/trials to download a copy of Corel WinDVD Pro 11, and see if you still need 3D TV if you already have WinDVD Pro 11.

The new WinDVD Pro 11 is $79.99 a pop that includes a pair of Anaglyph 3D glasses, owners of WinDVD 9, WinDVD 2010 or WinDVD Pro 2010 can get the new WinDVD Pro 11 for $59.99 only. The Corel WinDVD Pro 11 is now available at leading retailers as well as Corel.com in 8 languages (English, Chinese Traditional, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish).
