This is not as if I’m defending Apple for announcing the new iPhone 4S. I was disappointed as well when the keynote ended without them (Apple) announcing iPhone 5. But as the week pass by and news about Steve Jobs death invaded the internet, went back and took a look at the spec sheet of iPhone 4S and iPhone 4, then I realize that the iPhone 4S is not a lower version of iPhone 4 but instead it looks like the iPhone 4S is what Apple intended to released when they first introduced the original iPhone 4; a world phone with a great processor and GPU.
I think what got most people (including me) disappointed is because iPhone 4S was released more than a year after the original iPhone 4 was introduced (16 months to be exact), still using a 3.5-inch screen where major smartphone manufacturer are already releasing a slew of 4″ screen smartphone and the form factor is the same as with the iPhone 4, Apple designer did not even bother tweaking the design.
For what’s it worth, it looks like iPhone 4S will out sell it’s predecessor. So are you disappointed with the new iPhone 4S? Do tell us by commenting below.
