Last August Steve Jobs resigned as Apple’s CEO and recommended Tim Cook as his successor as the new CEO of Apple. Sure enough Apple’s Board of Director named Tim cook as it’s new CEO.
In Steve’s resignation letter, he said “I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.” and not that Steve Jobs has been put to rest, together with all that Steve Jobs dust is starting to settle, we should be see a new version of Apple where Tim Cook is at the helm.
The new version of Apple that I’m talking about is the same Apple that Steve Jobs lead from an “almost-dead” to “most valuable” company in the world, but Tim Cook will be tweaking the formula of these key areas that are “unpopular” to corporate culture.
PC World have a listed these key area;
– Tim Cook has been sending company-wide email addressed to the Apple “team,” which Steve Jobs rarely do.
– Tim Cook also make sure that he is involve in Apple’s corporate reporting structures, promotions path, and other “administrative matters that never interested … Jobs,”
– Jump start the Apple’s Charitable Program where Steve Jobs is against and “was opposed to giving money away”.
These may appear to be “minor” but it looks like Tim Cook is slowly but surely leaving an indelible mark on Apple’s culture and yes I do believe “Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it.”
