Written by | Youtube

Curious as to how our Muslim friends celebrate or perform the annual Islamic ritual of the Hajj?

Then just on November 5 to watch it live via Youtube LiveStreaming.

Via WikiPedia:

The Hajj (Arabic: حج‎ Ḥaǧǧ “pilgrimage”) is the pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is the largest pilgrimage in the world, and is the fifth pillar of Islam, a religious duty that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so. The Hajj is a demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim people, and their submission to God (Allah in the Arabic language).

You can just imagine how important Hajj is to our Muslim brothers and this will be the first time Hajj will be live stream on Youtube. Youtube previously worked with the Saudi Ministry of Culture and Information to broadcast Islamic prayers live during Ramadan from the Holy Mosque in Mecca for the first time. This live stream will surely help us understand more about the Muslim Faith and how our Muslim friends celebrate one of the most important pillars Islam.

Eid Mubarak!
