American Idol Season 11 Finale; sets Social Media TV Records

The ratings may have been down by 27% and you may even be disappointed that Jessica Sanchez did not bag the American Idol crown but it looks like the season finale for the American Idol season finale have set 4 social media TV records.

According to Bluefin Labs the two-hour finale have set four Social Media TV Records; Most comments for a TV Series, any single episode and finale episode (1.2 million comments); First TV series single episode to surpass 1 million comments, Most comments for a full TV Show season (5.9 million comments).

I guess that’s what happen if one of the finalist of your reality show is a Filipino Decendants, after all Philippine is the Social Media Capital of the World.
