If you’re one of those people who envy Apple fanboy because they always get and brag about the apps that are only to iOS platform, then you can cross Flipboard out of your android app wish list, since Flipboard just released the beta version of the much awaited Android version of Flipboard, the social news magazine that was (before today) only available to iOS users.
You can download the beta version here, just like any (*.apk) non-Play store app, all you need to do is to download the file and tap to install it. Since it was announced earlier this month that Flipboard would be released for select Android phones, beginning with the Samsung Galaxy S3, I would suggest that you have at least the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), though trying on older version of Android won’t hurt.
Keep in mind that the app is still in beta, so expect some bugs here and there, plus don’t forget to send in your feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org, so that they can iron out those wrinkles before they release the full version. If you’re one of the few lucky ones to be the early users of Flipboard for Android, what are your thoughts on Flipboard for Android?
