Meet Corel Designs!!!

Written by | Apps and OS

Yesterday, Microsoft announced the availability of Windows 8 Release Preview, which I personally think Microsoft did one heck of a job to continually enhance and work on things that matter like security and privacy, performance, 3rd party device and software support. Since Windows 8 Release Preview, Corel just announced their first Windows 8/Metro app; Corel Designs.

Designs is a Metro app to search CorelDRAW.com community galleries for user-generated artwork, quickly save your favorites for easy access and share image thumbnails, references and comments. In short is the Flipboards for user-generated artwork, graphics and of course designs. At this time, it’ll only search the CorelDRAW.com community galleries.

Paul Legomski, Principal Designer and Strategist from Corel’s graphics team introduces Designs and talks about how it helps designers and graphics pros find inspiration in the office or on the go! Use our new Metro app to search CorelDRAW.com community galleries for user-generated artwork, quickly save your favorites for easy access and share image thumbnails, references and comments.

If you installed Windows 8 RP, you can download the Corel Designs from Windows App Store for free, just click here.

Full disclosure: I work as a Social Media Monitor for Corel but what I do and write here is connected to Corel in anyway nor do they have control over the articles that I write here.
