It didn’t take so long when Microsoft announced their latest flagship phone operating system, Windows Phone 8 at San Francisco that is expected to arrive at the global market soon, now Microsoft through its WP developer blog reveal more than a hundred countries including Philippines that already have access to their app marketplace. 38 countries of which are also already have access to the Microsoft’s App Hub where developers from these countries can submit their app to the same market and utilize all the tools provided such as those for managing in-app commerce.
Microsoft particularly emphasized that aside from the revenue the developers are getting from advertising or app sales in the market, in-app purchases capability will also allow them maximize their earning and manage their app to extend its usability–in-app purchases is when a user buy premium services, tools or features to take full advantage of the app. Moreover, the company is also in the final touches of a Company Hub which is a new marketplace for all line-of-business apps intended for enterprises.
The company said that the marketplace took an all-new look to achieve its most robust and scalable state and developers can expect more from this new “Next Generation Platform” such as faster certification, publishing times and better reporting options to mention a few.
