Like what Apple announced last September 12, the iOS 6.0 is now available to all iOS device owner particularly 4th-gen iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS to later, iPad 2 and later.

The iOS 6 is free iOS device owner and the exact fielsize is just 548 MB but you need to have at least 2.2 GB of free space to download and update the iOS of your device, so for me I need to remove a couple of movies to meet the free space requirements.

Like what was announced last WWDC 2012, the iOS 6 will introduce 200 new features but the most notable features are; smarter SIRI, deep Facebook integration, New Call Controls, DO NOT DISTURB feature, Facetime, Safari, Photo Stream now with shared Photo streams, Mail App, PassBook, Guided Access a way to disable an area, settings or button on your device, Single-App mode, new MAPS and the so called “Features for China is also included”.

To upgrade to the iOS 6, just go to the your device’s SETTINGS > GENERAL > SOFTWARE UPDATE or using iTunes click on the CHECK FOR UPDATE button. As of this writing, I’m 10% done and about 1 hour remaining.
