iZone is probably the first Apple reseller to sell (or sold) Apple’s next-generation iPhone 5. Before the Saudi National Day (9/23/2012) they’ve announced via their FB Page that they’ll have a very important announcement after the holiday and sure enough they said that they’ll start selling the iPhone 5 starting Monday, Sept. 24 and they’ll continue selling until supply last. But checking on their status updates there may not be enough supply to last the week, since one of their store particularly in Prince Sultan street is packed.
Of course just like those stores in Green Hills in the Philippines and those iPhone 5 sold in the grey market, these phones are not locally released and are most likely imported from Europe.
So if you want to be one of the first to be using the latest iPhone 5 — here’s their price list (for both black and white color).
16GB – SAR 4,999.00
32GB – SAR 5,799.00
64GB – SAR 6,299.00
The price for the iPhone 5 is a bit higher when they first sold the iPhone 4S which has a starting price of SAR 4,560 for the 16 GB model. Of course if these phones are imported from Europe they’ll have all the features including Facetime which is disable when you buy the locally released iPhones in KSA, which will arrive after a month or two.
You can also checkout their unboxing photos, when you like their FB page. In case you’re curious on how much is SAR 4,999.00 in Php — it’s around Php 55k and that’s according to Yahoo’s Currency converter. Also available is the Earpods which are selling at SAR 165.00.
