Acer intros Windows 8 All-in-One PC and targets a November release

It looks like one manufacturer after the other are announcing the own Windows 8 powered device, first there was this leak from Asus, then Samsung, Sony and I’m sure HP and Lenovo will also announce their Windows 8 powered devices. But while we wait for them, checkout these Windows 8 All-in-One PC from Acer namely; Aspire 5600U and Aspire 7600U.

Acer Aspire 5600U

The Acer Aspire 5600U will sport a 23-inch multi-touch display with a minimalist design that has a transparent panel at the bottom, it will be powered by Intel’s latest Core i5 2.4GHz 3110M processor, an integrated HD graphics, 8GB RAM and 1TB disk space. The Aspire will also have a number of ports that will surely be helpful like; 3 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 3.0 and an HDMI port; and aside from Wifi 802.11 n/g/b/a it will also feature Bluetooth connectivity. The 6500U is schedule for an October 26, 2012 release and a price tag of $1,149 (or SAR 4309.00) for the touch model and $999 (that’s SAR 3746.00) for the non-touch model.

Acer Aspire A7600U

The Acer Aspire 7600U on the other hand is a 27-incher powered by Intel’s latest Core i5 3210M processor clocked at 2.4GHz, an NVIDIA GT640M graphics, 8GB RAM and 1TB disk space. Just like the 5600U the 7600U will also be peppered by ports; 4 x USB 2.0, 3 x USB 3.0, an HDMI port, plus the Wifi 802.11 n/g/b/a and bluetooth for the wireless connectivity. Acer Aspire 7600U will be available a month after 5600U and targets a November 2012 release and a price tag of $1,899.99 or SAR 7,125.00.

Both All-in-One will feature a Real Sound Lab CONEQ speakers and HD (1080p) display. If you already have your own rig and only want the display, Acer will also release a display only model as the T232HL and T272HL priced at $499.99 and $699.99 respectively.
