Commission on Elections (COMELEC) started to urge voters to verify their registration status on their portal so they can have time to include themselves on the official list of participating voters in the coming 2013 election. Voters, if not yet listed, are advised to visit any designated COMELEC registration office to register.
Since this is actually the first time that I learned about this, I didn’t hesitantly decide to give it a try. It only took me 3 simple steps to learn that my registration is not anymore active! 😀
Follow the following simple steps to verify your COMELEC registration status online:
Visit the official website of Commission on Elections and direct to the Precinct Finder Form. Take note that if you already tried this before, you should be informed that the old Precinct Finder Form is not anymore available.
Enter your basic information including first name, last name middle name and your date of birth. All fields are actually required so observe correct spelling and date when entering them and
Click the search button at the end of the form to submit your query. A message box will pop up confirming your request, just click OK and wait for your data to be processed.
Just that simple, you can try another search by going back to the link given on step 1 or click the New Search button.
