Written by | Social Media, Twitter

It may be just a coincidence that 24 hours after Instagram disabling support to Twitter card, Twitter is officially introducing the photo filters to it Android App and still waiting for approval for its iOS app.

The filters and effects are not actually developed by Twitter engineers but are from Aviary and Twitter posted the details on it’s blog.

Filters. Apply one of eight filters, ranging from black & white to vintage, to add a new look and feel to your photos.

Take a bird’s-eye view. See how each filter would affect your photo in a single grid view, or swipe through looks to compare your options.

Frame the action. Crop and pinch to zoom in order to focus attention.

Auto-enhance. Make your photos pop with balanced light and colors by tapping the wand.

You may want to update your twitter app, if the filters are still not available. You can also watch the demo video from twitter below.

It looks like from here on, it an all-out-war between Twitter and Instagram. Who do you think will win? Twitter starting to evolve more like Instagram with it’s Twitter Photo and Instagram is the photo version of Twitter.
