apple-logoThis may be a welcoming news for Filipino iOS app developers, specially does who puts a lot of effort on the UI and graphics of their app.

Apple announced that “Beginning January 9, app screenshots will be locked in iTunes Connect once your app has been approved. New screenshots may be uploaded when you submit a binary for an update to an existing app or a new app…“.

This move by Apple can prevent fake app developers from stealing screenshots of more popular iOS games/apps. An example of this was the game that I downloaded from Google Play and I thought was the Android version of Temple Run, since it has the screenshot of the said game which at that time was only available on iOS devices and just starting to be popular.
