This have been bugging me for a long time now and it’s annoying, whenever start Excel 2007 the default view or display is set to ‘RIGHT TO LEFT’ (see screenshot above), I always have to go to PAGE LAYOUT tab then click or disable the ‘SHEET RIGHT TO LEFT’ button. If your experiencing this as well, then you can follow these steps to set the ‘LEFT TO RIGHT’ display/view of your Excel permanent.

1. Click the OFFICE button on the upper-left corner of the screen, then click the EXCEL OPTIONS button.

2. On the left side of EXCEL OPTIONS screen, go to the ADVANCED setting then scroll down to DISPLAY section.

3. From there select ‘Left-to-Right’ then click OK.

Once you’re done with the steps the next time you open MS Excel, the view or display will now be ‘Left to Right’.
