THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has reminded telecommunication companies to remove the unlawful expiry periods on their cellular-phone prepaid load cards.

Prepaid load cards have at least a year of before it expires (anyone can correct with this), which I think is long enough to keep and use, plus I have not seen anyone keeping a load card for more than a year without using it.

What I’d like to see is, if DTI (or NTC) can order telecom companies to remove the expiration dates of loaded prepaid cards or for the Senate Bill 2231 become into a law.
