Ginebra channels ‘never say die,’ ties Finals at 2-2

Ginebra leaned on a spirited fourth quarter run to outlast Meralco, 88-86, and pull even at 2-2 in what has been an entertaining 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup Finals series.

Jayjay Helterbrand and Mark Caguiao sparked the Kings’ comeback from 16 points down even as Joe DeVance put on the finishing touches in the winding seconds of the game.

It was a classic FAST & FURIOUS, both Jayjay Helterbrand and Mark Caguiao gave he Gin King enough boost for them to get the win.

Its now a best of three series and winner of Game 5, which will be on Sunday at the Smart-Araneta Colesium, will have a twice to beat advantage and will be one win away for the 2016 PBA Governors’ Cup Championship.
