This 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC), Nokia or HMD is reported to announce 2 new Android phones; the Nokia 3 and 5, aside from Nokia 6 that they already announced, the company is also said to release a modern version of one of its classic phone, the Nokia 3310.

There’s not much detail about the Nokia 3 and 5 but its been rumored that the Nokia 5 will have the same chipset as the Nokia 6 but with a smaller display of 5.2 inches at 720p, a 2 GB RAM, and image sensor to 12 megapixels. The Nokia 3 on the other hand will be an entry level Android phone. Both the Nokia 3 and 5 will be sold for €199 and €149, respectively.

Of all the phones that Nokia will announce this MWC, the most interesting unit is probably the remake of its classic phone Nokia 3310.

Successor to Nokia 3210, the 3310 is one of the most successful phones for Nokia, selling more than 126 million units worldwide. It’s an iconic phone because of its durability and ridiculously long battery life.

Disclosure, Nokia 3310 is my first phone and if Nokia can make their remake of Nokia 3310 half as durable and half its battery life, then people will surely be happy to trade-in their Chinese-branded smartphone to Nokia.
