Google’s AI will begin rolling out this week to English users in the United States, followed by English in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom, as well as German speakers in Germany. Then to other languages within the year. Owners of Android phones running Nougat and Marshmallow with Google Play Services will automatically be eligible.

The Google Assistant was unveil with the Pixel smartphone more than 5 months ago and have been exclusively available to Google Home, Google Allo and Android Wear devices.
