Here’s something that I didn’t think I will see, the Classic Tomb Raider playable using a browser.

That’s right, the classic Tomb Raider that was originally release in 1996, have been ported by a group of developers under the moniker OpenLara. Inspired by the by OpenTomb project http://opentomb.github.io/, the group started last July 20, 2016 and now have the ported game online and playable at http://xproger.info/projects/OpenLara/.

Here’s a screenshot of the game using Firefox browser;

OpenLara is supported by modern browsers, you can also play it using a smartphone. If you’re interested to see how the game works or want to play withit, the code is available on GitHub.
