Amazon Prime Now official in Singapore

Amazon has officially launched its Prime Now service in Singapore, residents can now download the Amazon Prime Now app and sign up for the service. The news of Amazon launching the Prime Now service have been leaked a couple days ago.

Amazon Prime Now is an express grocery service that allows customers to buy “tens of thousands of items” online and have them delivered within two hours. The service will be available to more than 5 million residents in the country. To attract users, for a limited time, Amazon Prime Now will be available in Singapore to try without a Prime membership.

The Amazon Prime Now service is available for iOS and Android devices.

Amazon Prime Now will be competing with established eCommerce giants in the region like Lazada, which has a Prime like service, then there’s Alibaba and JD.Com.
