In celebration of Nikon’s 100th Anniversary, the company announce the development of D850, a full-frame SLR and successor to Nikon D810, a well deserve and overdue upgrade.

Nikon said that the D850 “will be a formidable tool for creators who will not compromise on exceptional image quality and versatility, including aspiring and professional photographers, as well as hobbyists, who shoot landscapes, commercial sports, fashion and weddings, and multimedia content creators.”

The announcement did not provide any technical details except that the new camera will be “high resolution and high-speed capabilities”, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
