If you want to know which carrier provides the best cellular connection in our area, then you may want to use B.A.S.S. or the Bandwidth and Signal Strength.

B.A.S.S. or Bandwidth and Signal Strength, is an android app that provides crowd-sourced and mapping information of the cellular signal and connection speed of a particular locality in the Philippines. The app works just like SpeedTest but it measures carrier’s bandwidth and signal strength, which can later be used to improve the state of local internet quality in the Philippines.

The information collected by the app is then interpreted by the B.A.S.S. algorithm and turn it into “map with visual cues”, informing the users which carrier has better coverage, signal strength and bandwidth signal in their area. Since this is a crowd-sourced application, the more user the app gets more accurate the data it provides.

B.A.S.S. app is free t use and available to both iOS and Android users.
