Google has rolled-out the Daydream update for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphone. The update will turn Samsung’s latest smartphone to be “Daydream-ready phones”. Daydream is Google’s VR platform which competes with other VR platform like Oculus Rift, HTC’s Vive and Sony’s Playstation VR.

Google added the update “will take time to finish rolling out” which is another way for saying “wait and be patient”.

First announced at Google I/O developer conference in May 2016, the platform uses the Daydream View as its VR headset, which was released on November 10, 2016.
