Mozilla launches Send, an ephemeral file sharing website

Mozilla just launched Send, a website that will allow users to upload and share files up to 1 GB, share it online and it automatically be delete from the service once the file have been downloaded or after 24 hours.

Send is basically a ephemeral version of Dropbox or Google drive. The new service does not require you to sign up for the service and will work using any modern browser.

Mozilla is classifying Send as a Test Pilot experiments, which means that it Send may just be running for a certain amount of time or if enough number of people uses the service, Mozilla may decide to launch it as “standard feature of Firefox.”
