Sharp just announced another bezel-less smartphone, the Aquos S2.
The Sharp Aquos S2 features a 5.5-inch bezel-less 2K screen that envelops the 8MP front camera. The only noticeable bezel that you will see on this phone is the chin, where the Home button is located. The Aquos S2 has two variants; the Snapdragon 630 chip with a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration and a more powerful Snapdragon 660 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Both model will sports a elongated Home button with built-in fingerprint scanner, similar to the Galaxy S5 Home Button.
To complete the specs, the Aquos S2 will feature a fingerprint scanner, dual 12MP f/1.8 PDAF + 8MP dual rear cameras, 8MP front camera and a 3,020mAh battery. The S2 will be running Android 7.1 Nougat with Smile UX.
The Sharp Aquos S2 will be available in China this 14th of August with a retail price of 2488 Chinese Yuan or around Php18,800, for the Snapdragon 630-4GB-RAM-64GB-storage configuration, and 3499 Chinese Yuan for the faster and bigger, Snapdragon 660-6GB-RAM-128GB-storage model.
